OHMS Records

OHMS Records is the recording and release arm of the Ohio Music Scene — a label built to document, promote, and empower Ohio artists. Rooted in the state’s independent music legacy, OHMS Records bridges the gap between underground authenticity and modern distribution.

Our mission is simple: to preserve the past, amplify the present, and shape the future of Ohio music.
We work with artists across every genre — punk, garage, metal, indie, folk, experimental, and beyond — giving them a home that celebrates local identity while connecting them to a global audience.

Through partnerships with the OHMS Archive Foundation and OHMS Radio, every release becomes part of a larger ecosystem — from digital streaming and physical vinyl releases to radio rotation, interviews, and live showcases through the OHMS Civic Club.

What we do:

• Release & Distribution: Digital and physical formats, including curated vinyl pressings.

• Recording & Production: In collaboration with OHMS Studio, offering professional recording and mastering for independent artists.

• Archival Preservation: Every OHMS Records release is preserved within the OHMS Archive Foundation for future generations.

• Promotion & Media: Cross-promotion through OHMS Radio, OHMZINE, and local events.
